I got one for you : Imagine all the mountains and mountain ranges in the world would be taken to create ONE massive mountain (and for the sake of this thought experiment we assume that the crust would be able to withstand that massive pressure without giving in ). A mountain so unbelievably big it even puts olympus mons to shame. It is about 5 times as wide as it is high, so the peak would even reach space, that is how massive it is.
Now further imagine that at the base of this giant we have a lake that contains all the water on earth combined into this one massive lake, immeasurably deep and longer and broader then our massive mountain even. Now for whatever reason this gigantic mountain would suddenly collapse and fall into our lake. Man that would splash.

One of my absolute all-time favorite illustrations of mutual disarmament agreements with Russia comes courtesy of Mr. Tom Clancy. Jack Ryan describes it like having a handgun with a full clip pointed at your chest. So you have your would-be attacker eject the magazine and take out half. Then they point it at you again. Do you honestly feel safer? Even cutting our arsenals in half wouldn’t begin to make things less catastrophic. I’ll honestly never forget that; and people told me it was a waste of my time to read fiction.

In the famous words of a nuclear expert from the past "there is no such thing as overkill" The reason is simple, not every weapon hits its target and no weapon system is 100% reliable. So while yes, we COULD hit every city in the world and kill 3 billion people in an instant, that isn't what the nukes are being targeted at, and not all of them would detonate (reliability is pessimistically estimated at 50%). Still, doesn't change what would happen if we got them all together and blew them up.

@gaming creates worlddd 24 thats true but most species will be wiped out, there are also many unknown things lurking out the depths of the void.
new energy sources could also wipe out humanity, radiation was but a warning from what lies ahead.
lets suppose we could create a sun on earth, a literal sun not a brief blast from nuclear explosion and some madmen decided to accelerate it's process until the star eats itself entirely, the energy relased (maybe used as a weapon) would make nuclear bombs seem like a child's toy, or if humanity learned to transform literally anything into antimatter despite its size that would be chaotic considering mankind is not mentally prepared to handle that level of power.
Human is civilized only because it is being held by rules and laws but if you take these things you start seeing the truth of our nature.

so all nuclear weapons are as much energy as the energy we release in heat in peace , just from oil consumption in 14 months . (maybe every 150 days from wasted energy of the total energy sources )
